What started as a resource that offered 1 or 2 girlfriend getaway packages for each state has doubled in size, expanded into Canada, and offers many different levels of travel interests to its website visitors.

Visitors to the site were asked about the obstacles they must overcome to partake in a girlfriend getaway. The number one response was monetary restraints. In response THE B.Y.O.G! has included many budget-friendly getaways for under $150 a night.
The second biggest obstacle for women to overcome in their quest for a retreat was the time to plan. With all the obligations and responsibility women have in their lives, it seems an impossible task to set up a meeting date with other equally busy women. To help women use their time more efficiently THE B.Y.O.G! has aligned themselves with Triporama.com becoming the featured provider in their Girlfriend Getaway Planning Section. Triporama's Group Trip Planner reduces the substantial burden groups face by simplifying the process of collaborating on all aspects of planning a trip, including sharing travel research, determining travel dates, and coordinating on travel details.
Lastly, THE B.Y.O.G! receives emails from women on a daily basis explaining their readiness to getaway but their lack of like-minded friends. To respond to this need, THE B.Y.O.G! has teamed up with Gutsy Women Travel, an escorted tour company devoted to providing fun, pampering, safe travel for women. Over the last five years, Gutsy Women Travel has been developing exotic trips for a community of solo women who enjoy group travel.
